Smyrna Complete Home Renovation
I wish we had taken the opportunity to photograph this place before we worked on it. It had great bones to start with, but the finish product we couldn't be happier with. The entire flow of the townhouse has a more updated feel to it, its lighter and airier yet still feels like a home.
The clients were going for a clean look - sophisticated but still comfortable. Less is more was the theme.
Colors were chosen with a new twist of contemporary including gray toned floors and rich cream colored walls and trim. Conformal spaces such as the office and living room added vintage touches. We took advantage of the higher ceilings by taking out the 6" recess lights and replacing with a few more smaller recess lights which makes the ceilings look even taller and bringing in more light which is important in a condo/townhouse.
When you renovate a section of your home, its a commitment. But when you renovate a home from the ground up...it can feel like buying a new house. All your furniture has to be out and you need to find other accommodations. It can be a pain especially if the builder is not a reputable one, but the end result with a solid contractor or renovation company is beyond worth it!
This entire renovation took 2 months, which can seem like a long time to be out of your home, but for this level of work to be done in 2 months...we were beyond proud.
